LU-CIX is pointing out that the Luxembourg Internet Exchange has recently exceeded the symbolic number of 50 members since 4 new members joined during summer, raising the number of its members to 53. “On average, LU-CIX has been welcoming one new Internet services company per month from the beginning of 2013 !”, explains LU-CIX.

One employee with permanent contract

The dynamism of the online sector in Luxembourg has not only allowed LU-CIX to accelerate the launch of new attractive solutions for its members, but also allowed to hire the first LU-CIX employee with a permanent contract.

“LU-CIX End OF the year event”

From its creation in 2009, LU-CIX has invited the local and the global Internet community to one ICT event each year. This year’s event will be held on November 22, at the Chamber of Commerce of Luxembourg.

This 2013 “LU-CIX End OF the year event” will be dedicated to the Internet & Datacentre industry with a special attention to the specific online security challenges. Concentrated on one afternoon, the event will gather the Luxembourg and international Internet and datacentre community around conferences, pitches and speed-dating opportunities.
As usual, access will be free.
