CSC and Aria Systems announced the commercial availability of CSC CloudBill to businesses in the European market. CSC CloudBill is a billing and subscription management solution delivered “as a service” that provides online businesses with a more efficient way to monetize their products and services.

The solution is hosted in the CSC Trusted Cloud Datacenter and is built on Aria Systems’ Software as a Service (SaaS) platform. Unlike large, capital-intensive billers and niche providers, CSC CloudBill is the only monetization platform that encompasses the full customer lifecycle from subscription management to billing in an as a service environment.

CSC’s consulting, systems integration and cloud technology leadership, combined with Aria’s industry-leading platform, offers a low-cost, flexible subscription billing and recurring revenue management tool to the market. Initially, the two companies will enable European clients to enter new markets quickly, manage complex pricing schemes, accelerate time to market and optimize sales strategies to increase revenue and cash flow.

Earlier in 2011, CSC and Aria Systems announced a global agreement to collaborate on cloud subscription billing and recurring revenue management. As part of the agreement, CSC has adopted the Aria Systems platform as the foundation of CloudBill, and today’s announcement reaffirms both companies’ commitment to offering a competitive cloud-based solution.
