The Creative Young Entrepreneur Luxembourg (CYEL) is aimed to elect best young entrepreneurs who have their talk creativity and imagination to solve a problem and / or highlight a service or a product.

The harvest of the 8th edition of the Creative Young Entrepreneur Luxembourg (CYEL) was rich in exceptional winning projects this year. Since the opening of nominations last February, the CYEL 2014 team of the Junior Chamber of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg received 15 very interesting files from the most innovative entrepreneurs of the year in all Luxembourg. 11 records have been pre-selected to go before the jury of the competition and to participate in the new public choice award: the « Public Choice Award » (PCA).

On May 5, 2014 at the headquarters of the BGL BNP Paribas in Luxembourg City, the jury analyzed the submitted applications, selected three finalists and, then, named a winner for the 2014 edition. Finalists reflect the diversity of sectors and represented the image of Luxembourg as a land of entrepreneurship. Therefore, the task for those candidates was not easy for the jury.

The finalists are…

• Hugo BON – Soundytics – Founder
• Irina ALEKSANDROVA – Sportunity – Founder

The finalists will be honored at the gala to be held next June 4, 2014 at the Hôtel Parc Belle-Vue, 5 avenue Marie-Thérèse, L-2132 Luxembourg (Luxembourg City). The guest speaker will be Mr. Nicolas BUCK, the new president of Business Initiative asbl. And, the winner of the » Creative Young Entrepreneur Luxembourg » 2014 selected by the jury and the winner of the 2014 PCA chosen by the public will be revealed during the Awards’ Ceremony.

Vote before june 4th at noon

The jury, and the public, also, will have the opportunity to confirm his choice compared to the one of the Jury. They will vote for their favorite candidate on http://cyel.jci.lu/PCA. Voting will be closed on June 4 at noon.
